We follow the Fort Bend ISD calendar. When the students and teachers have a major holiday, the studio will close. In the case of inclement weather and possible studio closings, we will leave messages on the studio voice mail, send e-mails, and post information on the web site.
Term fees are non-refundable and no makeover class for the missed session / classes. Session missed by the child. We are unable to refund or credit any sessions missed by the child for any reason including illness. In exceptional cases, if a child is unable to attend a series of sessions due to an unfortunate circumstance or illness, no refund you can attend the future classes please contact Natyavani to discuss and review your request.
Attendance and Etiquette:
Regular class attendance is strongly encouraged. We do not give refunds for missed classes. Prompt arrival for class is necessary for the safety of each dancer. Missing the beginning warm-ups of class can lead to injury. Any student arriving later than 10 minutes may be asked to observe class. This decision is left to the discretion of the teacher. No gum, candy, or food is allowed in the classrooms. Students may take bottled water to class. cell phones MUST be on silent or left outside of the classroom. In class and out of class, students are expected to be respectful of fellow students, teachers, and studio property. No running or gymnastics allowed in the halls/ waiting areas. Parents are responsible for damages to studio property made by any child in their supervision.
Students must wear cover-ups to and from the studio. Dancers should not be dropped off more than ten minutes before class starts, and they need to be picked up no later than ten minutes after class is dismissed. Dancers waiting for rides must wait inside the studio.
Any late in either pick up or drop off more than 10 minutes is charged extra $10 fee for any other issues please contact Natyavani to discuss to prevent.
Natyavani Institute for Dance and Music will not be responsible for lost or stolen personal items left at the studio. Parents are encouraged to label all items brought to class. No tapping on the window, waving, or other distractions are allowed in the class.
Notice of intent to withdraw from any or all classes must be given in writing to the Office Administrator by the first week of the month. Verbal notice given to teachers is not sufficient. Tuition billing will continue until sufficient notice of withdrawal is given.
Any student returning after completely withdrawing from the studio will need to pay registration fees. Any account placed on a temporary “hold” will be charged a $15 reinstatement fee.
An annual non-refundable $15 registration fee is required when signing up for classes. Second and third siblings are $10 each. The family registration maximum fee is $40. Summer registration fee is $15 per dancer (new students only).
Tuition is due on the 5th of each month and will be automatically debited from your bank account or charged to your credit card on file. Fees will apply for any declined transactions. A late fee of $20 will be applied for any tuition not paid by the 12th of the month. Tuition is non-refundable.
Students are expected to adhere to the dress codes during performance and events.
Costumes will be charged as per the event should adhere our costumes.
